Position Purpose

As a Chocolate Advisor at Lindt USA, you will be joining a team that truly believes in your abilities to create a positive and engaging in‑store experience for our customers. With Lindt Chocolate Shops across the U.S., the retail teams deliver a premium experience.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Consistently contribute to the store’s ability to achieve or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales plans by delivering high levels of customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, and applying Lindt‑specific selling skills.
• Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the store’s sales mission daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals such as ADS, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
• Model Lindt standards through everyday activities such as dress code, upselling, and sales focus.
• Promote current marketing programs and use company‑provided resources to optimize selling activity.
• Monitor and report customer or product issues to management promptly and professionally.

Operational Controls

• Own and participate in maintaining operational standards and controls.
• Manage cash and POS transactions, paperwork, vendor logs, policies, and procedures.
• Restock shelves as needed, monitor date codes and pricing.
• Perform store maintenance and cleaning as directed; maintain store cleanliness.
• Comply with all quality assurance policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to interact positively with customers.
• Basic math and/or accounting skills.
• Ability to take direction and execute work effectively.
• Prior retail experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment.
• Physical: lift up to 10lb regularly, 35lb frequently, 50lb occasionally; able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with arms.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Other Requirements

Must be available to work nights, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and holidays.

Total Rewards

Compensation: $16‑17 per hour. Base pay determined by factors including job‑related skills, knowledge, experience, and market conditions. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive may also be included.
