Position Purpose

With Lindt Chocolate Shops across the U.S., our retail teams play an integral part in delivering a premium experience to our customers. It requires a positive, highly engaged, self‑starter to satisfy our customers with every interaction. Your passion for Lindt, knowledge of our product and commitment to the brand keeps customers coming back time and again.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Contribute to the store’s ability to achieve or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales plans by delivering high‑level customer service, product knowledge, and Lindt‑specific selling skills.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals such as ADS, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
• Model Lindt standards through everyday activities such as dress code, up‑selling, and sales focus.
• Promote current marketing programs and utilize company‑provided resources to optimize selling activity.
• Monitor and promptly address customer or product issues by escalating them to management.

Operational Controls

• Take ownership and actively participate in ensuring consistent adherence to operational standards and controls.
• Cash management: POS, paperwork, vendor logs, policies, and procedures.
• Re‑stock shelves as needed, monitoring date codes and pricing.
• Maintain store maintenance and cleaning as directed, ensuring store cleanliness.
• Comply with all quality assurance policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to interact positively with customers.
• Basic math and/or accounting skills.
• Ability to take direction and execute work effectively.
• Prior retail experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move 35 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with arms.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Other Requirements

Must be available to work nights, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and holidays.

Compensation

Compensation range: $15.10 – $16.50 per hour, based on market rates. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive may be included as part of the compensation package.
