Position Purpose

As a Chocolate Advisor at Lindt USA, you will create a positive and engaging in‑store experience for our customers. You will join a team that is passionate about Lindt, knowledgeable about our products, and committed to our brand.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Sales: Consistently contribute to the store’s ability to achieve or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales plans by providing the highest levels of customer service, demonstrated product knowledge, and Lindt‑specific selling skills.
• Show daily, weekly, and monthly commitment to the store’s sales mission.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals such as ADS, conversion, and other key performance indicators.
• Model Lindt standards through everyday activities such as dress code, upselling, and maintaining a sales focus.
• Promote current marketing programs and utilize company‑provided resources to optimize selling activity.
• Monitor and promptly elevate customer or product issues to management.

Operational Controls

• Take ownership and actively participate in ensuring operational standards and controls are consistently adhered to.
• Cash Management: POS, paperwork, vendor logs, and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Re‑stock shelves as needed, monitoring date codes and pricing.
• Perform store maintenance and cleaning as directed.
• Maintain store cleanliness.
• Comply with all Quality Assurance policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Skills & Knowledge: Ability to interact positively with customers; basic math and/or accounting skills; ability to take direction and execute work effectively.
• Experience: Prior retail experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment.
• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Other Requirements: Must be available to work nights, weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays; lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 35 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds; ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with arms.

Total Rewards

Compensation: $14 – $15 per hour. Lindt USA’s salary range reflects market rates based on our size, revenue, and location. Starting pay is determined using a wide range of factors including job‑related skills, knowledge, and experience as well as market conditions.

A bonus and/or long‑term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
