Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Spring House, PA seeks a six-month Co-Op in TDS Proteins Development CEAS to support cell line engineering and research activities. You will conduct experiments, analyze data, document results, and contribute to cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with aseptic cell culture.
• GPA 3.0 or higher across college coursework.
• Pursuing a relevant degree (biology, chemistry, bioengineering, etc.).
• No conflicting internship or employment during contract dates.

Responsibilities

• Investigate stress and secretory pathways in CHO cells to identify bottlenecks.
• Support cell line engineering to improve protein production, folding, secretion.
• Collaborate with proteomics and cross-functional teams to evaluate targets.
• Conduct laboratory experiments using aseptic cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
• Characterize experiments with Western blot, RT-qPCR, digital PCR, and flow cytometry as applicable.
• Analyze data and interpret results using statistical methods.
• Participate in design discussions and technical problem-solving.
• Communicate findings in meetings with collaborators and maintain lab notebooks.
