Job summary

Google Sunnyvale is seeking a Chip Package Signal and Power Integrity Engineer to shape the design of next‑gen TPU hardware. You will lead SI/PI across chip and package, driving cross‑functional collaboration with chip design, IP, system design, software and vendors to ensure robust high‑speed interfaces.

Required are a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field and at least 7 years of SI/PI experience; proficiency with SIPI tool chains such as HFSS, ADS, Sigrity or Siwave is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience with SI/PI design for chip/package or system PCB.
• Experience in industry Signal integrity and Power Integrity (SIPI) modeling tool chains (e.g., HFSS, ADS, Sigrity, Siwave, etc.).
• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or SI/PI (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead chip and package design, ensuring optimal SI/PI performance and system co-design from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Chip Design, IP, System Design, software, and vendors.
• Drive signal and power design implementations on chip and advanced packages.
• Provide feedback on silicon floorplans to maximize SI/PI performance and develop advanced methodologies.
