Job summary

NSA seeks Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT missions. LADP offers extensive training with multiple operational tours across offices, enhancing foreign language analysis capabilities. DUTIES include analysis, translation, transcription, and mentoring within NSA’s language programs.

Applicants should have ILR 2/2 in reading/listening and a degree in any field. Opportunities exist for direct placement based on skill and experience within the NSA cryptologic framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in the target language.
• Degree in any field acceptable; multiple pathways to entry.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or intelligence analysis is relevant.
• Leadership experience is considered; teamwork is valued.

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials and produce insights for SIGINT missions.
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the IC as needed.
• Candidate may be placed in LADP or direct-hire paths based on skill level.
• Operate within the Cryptologic Training System and MDLA competencies.
