Job summary

NSA seeks multilingual Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT mission. You will analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials, primarily Chinese, and participate in the Language Analysis Development Program or direct hire into analytic offices.

Candidates must meet ILR 2/2 in reading/listening, have a degree/experience mix, and be prepared for rotations and training across offices. U.S. citizenship and security requirements apply; travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• Degree in any field acceptable; experience in language or analytics preferred.
• Experience in intelligence analysis, policy, or related fields is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language material for SIGINT.
• Participate in LADP or direct hire into analytic offices.
• Collaborate with partners and customers across the IC as needed.
• Mentor, coach, and support other language analysts where applicable.
