Job summary

NSA is seeking multilingual Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT missions at the Fort Meade Complex and other NSA facilities. You will engage with partners and customers, perform language analysis, transcription, and translation, and develop analytic competencies through the LADP or direct placement.

Successful candidates will have ILR 2/2 in reading and listening, a relevant degree, and a commitment to national security.

Qualifications

• Degree in any field; 1+ year relevant experience in language work or related fields.
• ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in target language required.
• Experience in intelligence analysis, security studies, or related disciplines is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, translate foreign language materials.
• Research and understand cultures and geopolitical contexts relevant to national security.
• Develop analytic assessments and reports for policymakers and stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach junior analysts; contribute to mission health and tool usage.
