Job summary

National Security Agency seeks a Linguist/Multidisciplined Language Analyst (MDLA) to support SIGINT missions. Responsibilities include analyzing foreign language data, transcription, and translation for analysts and policymakers.

Qualified candidates should have ILR 2/2 in reading/listening, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to work with multiple teams. LADP or direct hire options may apply; program includes in‑person testing and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency ILR 2/2 in reading and listening for target language
• Bachelor’s degree or higher acceptable; multiple pathways to eligibility including HS diploma with experience
• Experience in translation, transcription, analysis, or related language work is preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language material
• Prepare written and oral assessments with insights for policymakers
• Collaborate with analysts across the Intelligence Community to support SIGINT mission
