Job summary

NSA is seeking Linguists known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT mission. The role involves translating, transcribing, and analyzing foreign language materials, with LADP or direct hire pathways. Candidates must meet ILR 2/2 reading/listening and have 1+ year of related experience.

Qualifications include a degree in any field and potential rotations across offices. Training, operational tours, and testing are part of the process, with a strong emphasis on accuracy

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in the target language.
• One year of relevant experience in language work or related fields (translation, transcription, analysis, etc.).
• Entry/Developmental or Full Performance level paths with specified degree/experience combinations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, translate key information for policymakers and partners.
• Research cultures and geo-political contexts to support SIGINT analysis.
• Synthesize information from diverse sources to solve analytic problems.
• Mentor and coach other analysts and ensure technical health of the mission.
