Job summary

NSA's Multidisciplined Language Analysts operate across the SIGINT mission, applying language skills to analysis, translation, and reporting. LADP offers intensive training with multiple operational tours, potentially leading to direct hire in analytic offices.

The role emphasizes problem solving, cultural research, and cross‑agency collaboration. With ILR 2/2 proficiency required, candidates should have a degree and relevant experience in language or related fields.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• Degree in any field acceptable; 1+ year related experience in language or analytic work.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or analysis preferred.
• Willingness to undergo security/background checks and polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials.
• Research and understand cultures and geopolitical contexts.
• Apply techniques to synthesize large volumes of data.
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique insights.
• Work independently and with teams across NSA and IC.
