Job summary

NSA's Language Analysts analyze foreign language materials to support SIGINT mission. The role involves translation, transcription, and analytical reporting, with opportunities for development through LADP and direct hires in analytic offices.

Candidates should demonstrate ILR 2/2 proficiency and a strong ability to collaborate with partners across the IC. Applicants must meet degree requirements and may have formal or informal leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency of ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• Degree requirements: a degree in any field is acceptable; multiple paths exist (high school + experience, Associate's + experience, etc.).
• Experience in translation, transcription, foreign language instruction, or analysis preferred; leadership experience also considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, translate, transcribe foreign language materials for SIGINT mission.
• Engage with partners and customers across the Intelligence Community.
• Mentor and coach other Language Analysts; contribute to reports and assessments.
