Job summary

NSA/CSS seeks Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support the SIGINT mission across the Intelligence Community. Roles may follow the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire, with 4–5 operational tours and formal training across offices. LADP lasts up to three years and focuses on building core analytic skills.

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening in the target language is required.
• A degree in any field is acceptable; 1+ year of relevant experience in language or related fields is required.
• Citizenship and security considerations apply; training programs may be offered (LADP or direct hire).

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials, including translation, transcription, and reporting.
• Support LADP or direct hire paths with multiple operational tours across offices.
• Collaborate with partners and customers across the IC to solve analytic problems.
• Mentor, coach, and potentially lead other Language Analysts.
• Ensure quality control of language products and maintain mission health.
