Job summary

Group14 Technologies is seeking a Business Development Manager (China Market) to expand revenue by managing existing customers and opening new opportunities in the battery materials sector. You will negotiate contracts, coordinate with program management, legal, and product teams, and drive growth with key customers and partners.

The role requires Mandarin fluency, a business degree, and 3+ years in BD or account management within the battery or automotive industries.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and verbal proficiency in Mandarin Chinese to interact with customers in China.
• BS or MS degree in Business, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• PhD and/or MBA preferred for advanced business degrees.

Responsibilities

• Execute a comprehensive business development plan to drive revenue growth and market share expansion in Automotive and Consumer Electronics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners, including OEMs and battery manufacturers.
• Negotiate supply agreements and review/execute contracts with Legal and other teams.
• Lead Contract Life Cycle Management from negotiation to expiration and monitor performance with Quality, Product, and Operations teams.
• Develop a deep understanding of the battery materials industry and emerging technologies.
• Provide concise updates to internal stakeholders and senior management.
