Job summary

GTN Solutions GmbH is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Chillers to oversee complex cooling equipment projects from order through installation, commissioning, and turnover. You will lead projects involving centrifugal chillers and modular cooling plants, collaborating with customers, engineering, manufacturing, and contractors across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 9 years of relevant professional experience, including 4 years with centrifugal chillers and modular cooling plants.
• Experience managing customer-facing equipment projects through engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong PM skills: schedule and budget control, risk mitigation, change management, documentation, stakeholder communication.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, equipment specs, control sequences, contracts, and installation docs.
• Experience coordinating site readiness, permitting, inspections, safety requirements, and regulatory approvals.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from order confirmation to final handover.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, engineers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and documentation.
• Lead meetings, communicate progress, and coordinate decisions among stakeholders.
• Manage scope changes, contractual requirements, and risk while maintaining profitability.
• Coordinate transition of completed projects to service and aftermarket teams.
