Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to support the fast-growing North America HVAC business.

The role involves startup, commissioning, troubleshooting and aftermarket service for commercial and ducted systems, with emphasis on customer-focused solutions and safety. Field technicians will be expected to travel up to 20% to support branch customers, work with tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle, and pursue STA certification for ongoing knowledge in HVAC products and sales

Qualifications

• Three+ years of practical working experience on commercial and/or ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHUs or Rooftop ducted units.
• Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines and screw chillers components.
• Universal EPA refrigerants license and applicable state/local licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level service to resolve facility inefficiencies at commissioning and aftermarket service.
• Offer quotes to support recommendations and upsell solutions.
• Recommend and implement energy-efficient improvements for customer facilities.
• Collaborate with local market mechanics to deliver customer outcomes.
• Prioritize safety in all activities.
