Job summary

Trane Technologies in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Chiller Product Support Engineer to provide technical and sales support for our centrifugal chiller portfolio, create marketing literature, and advise on electrification of HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency.

The role is hybrid (office 4 days a week) and based in La Crosse, with up to 10% travel. You will partner with engineering, product management, marketing and sales to align product positioning and support bid strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related technical field) is required.
• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Engineering-related work experience is a plus.
• Master’s Degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and sales support to the Trane field organization via phone, email, and site visits.
• Create and maintain marketing literature and presentations for sales teams.
• Support marketing communication promoting sustainability, efficiency, and reliability.
• Travel to sales offices, events, and customer sites to support chiller equipment and bids.
• Develop the selling story and ensure field teams are aligned on positioning.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, marketing, operations, and software teams.
• Price equipment on projects and assist in bid strategies.
• Mentor new hires and support peers in a professional environment.
• Support Trane Select Assist software configurations and requirements.
• Train new field sales engineers and participate in graduate training programs.
