Job summary

Cordia is seeking a Plant Maintenance Tech IV to provide ongoing operations and maintenance of district cooling facilities in downtown Phoenix, with responsibilities including maintaining chillers and distribution systems and assisting at Tempe cogeneration and remote plant locations.

The role requires at least five years of experience with chilled water equipment, hands-on maintenance, and EPA 609 certification.

Qualifications

• Experience with chilled water equipment and water pumps.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting in plant environments.
• EPA 609 refrigeration certificate or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant chillers, distribution system, and auxiliary equipment.
• Oversee maintenance and coordinate with contractors for services.
• Complete logs, records, and maintenance paperwork.
• Initiate work orders in CMMS and plan weekly with department manager.
• Coordinate with operations for LOTO and daily operational meetings.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance and post-briefs for critical activities.
