Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time on-site HVAC technician with journeyman experience to maintain and repair central plant equipment, including large chillers, pumps and cooling towers.

The role requires EPA certification and a valid driver’s license, with on-call emergency coverage and a focus on safety and reliability. The position involves testing, start-ups, commissioning, and coordinating with the Chiller Field Supervisor on customer opportunities, while ensuring timely

Qualifications

• 5 years of journeyman level work experience in commercial/industrial HVAC is required.
• Knowledge of chillers, HVAC and central plants is required.
• EPA certification is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair central plant equipment including chillers 100 tons and larger, motors, pumps, valves, controls, cooling towers, and fans.
• Overhaul centrifugal chillers is a plus.
• Be familiar with rigging; support repairs from delivery to completion.
• Be available for emergency service calls on a rotating on-call basis.
• Perform end-to-end testing, programming, start-ups, and commissioning.
