Job summary

Virginia Economic Development Partnership in Lexington, VA seeks a Chiller Assembly Technician to assemble units on the production line using prints, wiring diagrams, and instructions. You will work with power tools, overhead hoists, and fixtures while following safety and quality requirements to meet production schedules.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will read blueprints, perform brazing for refrigeration and water circuits, and handle high voltage 3-phase wiring.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints, prints, and wiring diagrams to meet specs.
• Ability to interpret CAD models for assembly.
• Prefer production experience in make-to-order environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units on the production line using tools per specs.
• Perform brazing for refrigeration circuits per prints.
• Wire electrical systems including 3-phase high voltage work.
• Measure, cut, and insulate water piping assembly.
• Read and apply blueprints, instructions, and CAD models.
• Complete quality and production checklists per processes.
• Enter information into Windows/CAD systems and keep area clean.
• Operate hoists and material handling equipment when needed.
