Job summary

Modine is seeking a Chiller Assembly Technician to assemble copper and other metal components using brazing techniques on the production line in Natural Bridge, VA. You will read prints and wiring diagrams, perform brazing for refrigeration systems, and handle high voltage 3-phase wiring while meeting safety and quality standards.

The role operates on 3rd shift (10 PM–6 AM) with a starting pay of $24.23/hour, increasing to $26.23/hour after 9 months, plus a shift differential of $1.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with brazing for refrigeration and water circuits.
• Ability to perform high voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical systems.
• Measure, cut, fit and insulate water piping assemblies.
• Read prints and follow wiring diagrams to build or modify units.

Responsibilities

An Assembler Technician is responsible for utilizing prints, work instructions and wiring diagrams in order to assemble product on the production line.This position will be responsible for assembling and joining copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cooling systems.This may include the use of power tools, hand tools, overheadhoistsand fixtures to complete assembly and transport material to and from thework station. Chiller Assembly Techniciansare responsible foradhering to all safety and quality requirements while meeting production schedule demands. The Chiller Assembly Technician reports to the Production Supervisor.

Hours: 3rd Shift: 10PM-6AM

Pay: Starting Rate is $24.23/hour after 9 months the pay rate will increase to $26.23.

Shift Differential: 3rd Shift is &1.50/hour
