Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Lexington, VA, is seeking a Chiller Assembly Technician to assemble units on the production line using prints, wiring diagrams, and CAD models while ensuring safety and quality. This role challenges you to braze refrigeration circuits and perform high‑voltage wiring as part of a dynamic manufacturing team.

Ideal candidates have make‑to‑order assembly experience, read drawings, and work with power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Production experience in a make-to-order assembly role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, assembly checks and CAD models to meet production specifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units according to customer specifications using tools.
• Perform brazing for refrigeration and water circuits per print requirements.
• Perform high voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical system.
• Measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assembly.
• Read prints, work instructions, and wiring diagrams to build or modify units.
• Ensure completion of quality and production checklists.
• Use computer to access Windows-based and CAD platforms; keep work area neat and orderly.
• Operate overhead hoists, manual hand trucks, and powered industrial trucks when required.
