Job summary

Compass Connections is hiring for a role at our El Paso facility to support emergency shelter and group home services. The position supervises staff and coordinates daily activities for children while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher in social work or related field.
• Graduate degree in related field preferred.
• 1+ year of related experience; 2+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Supervise development of shift schedules and staff assignments.
• Monitor zone supervisors to ensure progress and documentation compliance.
• Assist with orientation of new children and staff.
• Provide input into development of treatment plans as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of positive child management techniques including de-escalation and containment.
• Plan, organize and supervise activities for children according to daily schedules.
• Maintain a secure campus environment with radio communication protocols.
• Be a positive role model for the service population.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
