Job summary

Compass Connections operates the Casa Mariposa Shelter in El Paso, TX, offering emergency shelter and group home placement for children. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Six months of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitary conditions in work and food service areas that meet or exceed licensing and policy requirements.
• Operate kitchen equipment and report any malfunctioning equipment immediately.
• Produce a standard food product by weighing and measuring ingredients accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of materials and equipment used in food preparation and cooking.
• Implement safety protocols including evacuating with children and staff in emergencies.
• Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality in all service operations.
• Adhere to Compass Connections dress code and professional standards.
