Job summary

ECU Health's James And Connie Maynard Children's Hospital in Greenville, NC seeks an experienced registered nurse for 0.9 FTE night shifts. You will provide and coordinate pediatric nursing care, assess patients, and collaborate with families and the care team to meet planned outcomes.

Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, delegation as per NC rules, and ongoing evaluation of patient progress to ensure safe, high-quality care in a dedicated children's hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Diploma in Nursing, Associate's degree in Nursing or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per NC Board of Nursing and professional standards.
• Collect and analyse assessment data; develop and modify plan of care.
• Collaborate with patient/family and interdisciplinary team; ensure outcomes.
• Delegate appropriate tasks in accordance with NC Nurse Practice Act.
• Promote effective functioning of the health care team throughout the episode of care.
