Job summary

ECU Health’s James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital in Greenville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate pediatric care. The role involves assessing patients, developing a care plan with families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.

The nurse will deliver care in accordance with the NC Nurse Practice Act and hospital standards, requiring current NC RN licensure and BLS. This is a 0.9 FTE position with three 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care including collection and analysis of assessment data, development and evaluation of care plans with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Identify interventions to attain outcomes, implement plan of care, and document progress.
• Collaborate with health care team to meet patient/family needs and delegate tasks as allowed by NC Nurse Practice Act.
