Job summary

PSIA-AASI Western Region seeks a 3 & 4 Year Old Supervisor to lead inside and outside coordination of the program, building a cohesive team that solves problems creatively and implements new ideas while fostering relations between pros and guests.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize operational requirements based on SOPs and initiatives.
• Supervise and staff a team of Pros to meet daily operational needs with scheduling accuracy.
• Promote excellence in guest service by evaluating guest experiences and addressing concerns.
• Maintain an active on-hill presence engaging with Pros and guests.
• Lead employee recognition, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Mentor Pros including PSIA certification, Stage IV progression, and Trainer pathway.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Support ski school operations by assisting sales and reservations, payroll, and related tasks.
• Promote and uphold risk management and safety protocols.
• Act in ASC’s best interest, including growth, protection, and addressing underground teaching.
• Conduct end-of-season analysis to assess strengths and opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The 3 & 4 Year Old Supervisor leads and supports pros and inside support team to deliver exceptional guest services and operational excellence. The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the inside and outside coordination of the 3 & 4 year old ski program, including actively building a dynamic and cohesive team that solves problems creatively and implements new ideas, and spends time building relationships between Pros and guests. The ideal candidate has a PSIA certification or a background in education with a proven track record of building and promoting a healthy and supportive culture of professionalism, excellence, collaboration, and trust. A passion for working with young children is essential.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $62,476 – $72,476. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions / Key Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize operational requirements based on departmental SOP’s, end of season analysis, and prescribedinitiatives


• Supervise, schedule andstaffa team of Pros to meet daily operationalneedswhile ensuring scheduling accuracythroughout the season


• Promote excellence in guest service by evaluating guest experiences and addressing concerns as they arise.


• Maintain an active on-hill presence, engaging with Pros and guests while observing guest experience and Pro performance at key times each day.


• Lead employee recognition efforts, performance management, and disciplinary actions


• Mentor and provide guidance to Pros, including Academy training, PSIA certification, Stage IV progression, and Trainer pathway mentorship


• Collaboratewithotherdepartments toensure seamless operations andenhance product knowledge


• Support ski school operations by assisting sales and reservations, payroll, and other teams as needed


• Promote and uphold a strong culture of risk management through clear communication and adherence to safety protocols


• Act in the best interest of ASC in growth and protection of current ASC business, including sales and investigating underground teaching


• Conduct a thorough end-of-season analysis to assess individual and departmental strengths and opportunities, contributing to off-season evaluation and planning


• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred


• Minimum of 5seasons in the snow sportsindustryrequired


• Minimum current PSIA/AASI level 1 certification, or foreign equivalent, preferred


• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children 6 & under preferred
