Job summary

Jovie is seeking a caring nanny to provide engaging childcare in families' homes in Vista, CA. The role emphasizes active participation with children, including play, reading, and crafts, and requires reliable transportation and a positive, proactive attitude.

Part-time availability (12–30 hours/week) with weekday afternoons and weekends preferred. Compensation ranges from $18 to $21.50 per hour, plus bonuses and mileage reimbursements up to $23 per hour. ASAP start.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of childcare or nanny experience.
• 2–3 childcare references required.
• Part-time schedules available (12–30 hours/week) with weekday afternoons & weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage with children in families' homes through play, reading, and crafts.
• Lead activities and supervise with enthusiasm; this role means doing rather than merely watching.
• Provide transportation to travel to different homes if needed and use a phone to manage assignments.

Responsibilities And Requirements

• An engaging, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and other activities in families' homes. This isn't watching....this job means "doing".
• At least 1 year of childcare or nanny experience
• At least 2-3 childcare references are required
• Part-time schedules are available (12 - 30 hours per week) - Weekday afternoons & Weekends are our biggest need!
• Reliable and insured transportation is required to travel to various family homes, families may also request drop off and pickup for activities during your shift
• Cell phone with data to accept and record assignments
