Job summary

Jovie is hiring for in-home childcare professionals in Costa Mesa, CA. The role offers part-time hours (12–30 per week) with start ASAP and a pay range of $18–$21 per hour, plus mileage reimbursements up to $23 per hour and potential bonuses. You’ll work with diverse families, delivering joyful, engaging care in their homes.

• Reliable, insured transportation to travel to family homes.
• Cell phone with data to accept/record assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, child-centred activities (play, reading, crafts) in families' homes.
• Lead safe, age-appropriate activities and routines.
• Support families with light caregiving duties during visits.

Pay range: $18 per hour to $21 per hour per hour + sibling care bonuses + guaranteed mileage reimbursements (up to $23 per hour)

Responsibilities And Requirements

• An engaging, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and other activities in families' homes. This isn't watching....this job means "doing".
• At least 1 year of childcare or nanny experience
• At least 2-3 childcare references are required
• Part-time schedules are available (12 - 30 hours per week) - Weekday afternoons & Weekends are our biggest need!
• Reliable and insured transportation is required to travel to various family homes, families may also request drop off and pickup for activities during your shift
• Cell phone with data to accept and record assignments
