Job summary

Jovie in California is seeking an engaging nanny to support families in their homes on a part-time basis. ASAP start, with 12–30 hours per week, primarily weekday afternoons and some weekends. Earn $20–$26 per hour, plus sibling care bonuses and mileage reimbursements where applicable.

Responsibilities include playing, reading, crafts, and activities, while ensuring safety and dependable transportation. You will use an app to manage availability and assignments.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of childcare or nanny experience.
• 2–3 childcare references required.
• Reliable and insured transportation to travel to families' homes.
• Part-time schedules available: 12–30 hours per week (weekday afternoons & weekends).

Responsibilities

• Engage children with play, reading, arts and crafts in families' homes.
• Be active, fun, and child‑focused; participate in activities beyond supervision.
• Maintain safety and record assignments via a smartphone.

Responsibilities And Requirements

• An engaging, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and other activities in families' homes. This isn't watching....this job means "doing".
• At least 1 year of childcare or nanny experience
• At least 2-3 childcare references are required
• Part-time schedules are available (12 - 30 hours per week) - Weekday afternoons & Weekends are our biggest need!
• Reliable and insured transportation is required to travel to various family homes, families may also request drop off and pickup for activities during your shift
• Cell phone with data to accept and record assignments
