Job summary

Foundations Early Learning Center is seeking a Program Manager in Savannah to lead teacher development, coordinate curricula, and uphold regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes hands-on training, staff growth, and collaborative leadership with the Center Director to enhance classroom quality.

The position requires 2-5 years of lead-teacher experience, a CDA/TCC, and an Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a CDA or TCC required.
  • Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility required.
  • Creative Curriculum experience/knowledge required.
  • Must possess knowledge and understanding of all current state and local regulations.
  • Proficient computer skills in a wide variety of business-related software programs.
  • Meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions, and maintain state in-service requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Train teachers on curriculum, developmentally appropriate practices, and quality-rating practices.
  • Ensure classroom lesson plans are completed and implemented.
  • Assist with the hiring and on-boarding of new teachers.
  • Work collaboratively with Center Director to provide feedback, assess needs, and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure adequate classroom materials.
  • Develop and track teacher professional development plans.
  • Complete classroom observations and growth plans, as needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate semi-annual parent/teacher conferences.
  • Plan, coordinate, and assist in the execution of summer camp.
  • Ensure all regulatory and company policies are observed in classrooms.

Position Available in the Richmond Hill and Savannah area

Hourly Pay Range: $19-$20/per hour

Pay is determined by the level of education and years of experience. Pay increases with continued education, performance and years of service.

  • Must possess knowledge and understanding of all current state and local regulations.
  • Proficient computer skills in a wide variety of business-related software programs.
  • Meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions, and maintain state in-service requirements.
