Job summary

Foundations Early Learning Center is looking for a Childcare Program Manager to lead teacher development and ensure high-quality early childhood education at our Richmond Hill area schools.

You will train staff on curriculum and best practices, help hire and onboard new teachers, and work with leadership to implement effective classroom routines. A CDA/TCC and 2–5 years of lead teaching are required.

Qualifications

• Requires CDA or TCC credentials with preference for higher teaching qualifications.
• Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of lead teacher experience in licensed childcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Train teachers on curriculum, developmentally appropriate practices, and quality-rating practices.
• Ensure lesson plans are completed and implemented.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding of new teachers.
• Collaborate with Center Director to assess needs and propose solutions.
• Ensure adequate classroom materials are available.
• Develop and track teacher professional development plans.
• Conduct classroom observations and growth plans as needed.
• Coordinate semi-annual parent/teacher conferences.
• Plan and assist in summer camp execution.
• Adhere to state and company policies in classrooms.

Position Available in the Richmond Hill and Savannah area

Hourly Pay Range: $19-$20/per hour

Pay is determined by the level of education and years of experience. Pay increases with continued education, performance and years of service.

Program Manager Responsibilities:

• Train teachers on curriculum, developmentally appropriate practices, and quality-rating practices.
• Ensure classroom lesson plans are completed and implemented.
• Assist with the hiring and on-boarding of new teachers.
• Work collaboratively with Center Director to provide feedback, assess needs, and recommend solutions.
• Ensure adequate classroom materials.
• Develop and track teacher professional development plans.
• Complete classroom observations and growth plans, as needed.
• Coordinate and facilitate semi-annual parent/teacher conferences.
• Plan, coordinate, and assist in the execution of summer camp.
• Ensure all regulatory and company policies are observed in classrooms.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of a CDA or TCC required
• Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
• At least 2 - 5 years of experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility required.
• Creative Curriculum experience/knowledge required
• Must possess knowledge and understanding of all current state and local regulations.
• Proficient computer skills in a wide variety of business-related software programs.
• Meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions, and maintain state in-service requirements.
