• Maintains safe food preparation and sanitation practices in the kitchen.

Pay range

Pay range: $16.00-$18.00 Candidates with previous experience cooking or working in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with stellar performance, and years of service.

Cook Responsibilities

Requirements

• Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for large group food service, preferably in a childcare center, required. SERV Safe certification preferred.
• At least 21-years-old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working in licensed childcare a plus
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
