Job summary

Foundations Early Learning Center in Savannah is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to lead teacher development and maintain thriving classrooms through developmentally appropriate practices. You will train staff, coordinate hiring, plan conferences, and ensure compliance with state regulations while fostering a supportive, growth-driven work environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • CDA or TCC certificate required.
  • Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
  • At least 2–5 years of lead teacher experience in a licensed childcare facility required.
  • Creative Curriculum experience/knowledge required.
  • Knowledge of current state and local regulations.
  • Proficient computer skills in common software programs.
  • Meet all state in-service requirements for classroom teaching positions.

Responsibilities

  • Train teachers on curriculum, developmentally appropriate practices, and quality-rating practices.
  • Ensure classroom lesson plans are completed and implemented.
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding of new teachers.
  • Collaborate with Center Director to provide feedback, assess needs, and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure adequate classroom materials.
  • Develop and track teacher professional development plans.
  • Complete classroom observations and growth plans as needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate semi-annual parent/teacher conferences.
  • Plan, coordinate, and assist in summer camp execution.
  • Ensure all regulatory and company policies are observed in classrooms.

Position Available in the Richmond Hill and Savannah area
Hourly Pay Range:

$19-$20/per hour

Pay is determined by the level of education and years of experience. Pay increases with continued education, performance and years of service.

Program Manager Responsibilities:

Requirements

  • At least 2 - 5 years of experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility required
  • Creative Curriculum experience/knowledge required
  • Must possess knowledge and understanding of all current state and local regulations
  • Proficient computer skills in a wide variety of business-related software programs
  • Meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions, and maintain state in-service requirements
