Our School:

The Goddard School in Milton is a new, state-of-the-art early childhood center offering social, physical, and academic success for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our curriculum, inspired by Piaget and Erikson, emphasizes play-based learning. We strive to attract and retain educators by providing a supportive and collaborative environment with the tools needed for success.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula
• Enhancing physical and intellectual skills by tailoring activities to individual needs
• Communicating professionally with parents and staff
• Supporting social and emotional development through positive guidance
• Building strong relationships with families
• Developing lesson plans and fostering teamwork for a well-organized program
• Following Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures
• Maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humor daily

Requirements:

• 2- or 4-year degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or current enrollment)
• Minimum of 18 ECE credits
• ECE Certification preferred (we will assist with certification)
• Availability between 7:00AM - 6:00PM
• Strong communication skills

Meet state and national standards, including:

• Ability to hear and see adequately
• Clear speech and understanding
• Physical ability to lift children up to 50 pounds
• Capability to respond to emergencies
