Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Cambria County is seeking a full-time cafeteria/kitchen assistant to manage meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and snack while ensuring children are supervised at all times.

You will maintain CACFP records, supervise kitchen staff, and conduct on-site training for staff and parents while complying with health and safety standards. Must hold ServSafe and Pediatric First Aid/CPR certifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures all children are chaperoned and never left unattended in all settings.
• Coordinates large-volume food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and snack.
• Maintains CACFP records: food usage, menu changes, inventory, daily meal counts, allergies, orders.
• Oversees kitchen staff to ensure proper cooking and sanitation methods.
• Maintains kitchen equipment and sanitation per state standards.
• Conducts on-site mini trainings for staff and parents.
