Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking a Food Service Coordinator to supervise meal preparation and serve meals and snacks to center children and staff. The role includes ensuring kitchen maintenance, safety, and compliance with USDA guidelines.

You will learn and input attendance into the USDA program, maintain inventory, and manage ordering. Certification in food handling and CPR/First Aid is required or provided during training.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience in food service, preferably in child care or institutional setting.
• Basic math skills for measuring and portioning.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear full background check.
• Must pass health screening.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus in line with nutritional guidelines and restrictions.
• Input menu calendar and daily meal attendance.
• Prepare, cook and deliver meals to center children and staff.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety per state licensing.
• Order food and supplies to keep kitchen stocked.
• Follow center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain personal professional development for quality improvement.
