Job summary

Ymca-of-Greater-Brandywine is seeking a Branch Program Leader to manage preschool program delivery, staff and volunteer supervision, and curriculum development. This role includes hiring, onboarding, budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with regulations and association standards.

You will also assist with annual campaign activities and support community partnerships to promote program and membership growth. Strong English communication required.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience.
  • Experience directing programs through supervision of volunteers and staff.
  • YMCA Team Leader certification preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; strong communication skills.
  • Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire.

  • Develops, implements, and manages operating plans and delivery to promote program and/or membership growth for the YMCA.
  • Executes strategies to ensure that members and/or program participants connect with one another and connect with the YMCA.
  • Assists in developing and controlling department budgets related to the position as requested by management.
  • Hires, Trains, Onboards and supervises part-time and full-time hourly staff and volunteers in assigned areas.
  • Facilitates communication and provides leadership to staff.
  • Assures compliance with state and local regulations and safety procedures.
  • Provides data, rosters, schedules, and reports as required for assigned programs.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborations with community organizations.
  • Supports branch Annual Campaign activities.
