Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Director to oversee daily operations of a childcare center serving up to 150 children with 18+ staff. Qualifications

• Must have 40 Hour Directors Course Certification or CDA as required by Georgia.
• Experience at the front desk (Director/Assistant Director, Office Manager) of a licensed childcare facility.
• Previous supervisory experience or experience providing work direction.
• CPR/First Aid and any other training required by regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of Georgia daycare licensing rules and early childhood education curriculum.
• Background check on file with Decal per Georgia requirements.
• Flexible/adaptable to constant change.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and plan work under own initiative.
• Initiative to develop and maintain communication and build relationships with parents and others.

• Participate in student/parent tours.
• Maintain constant supervision of students in care; attend to students in distress.
• Assist teachers with the weekly development and execution of the curriculum and program activities.
• Back-office and corporate support to guide you and assist you with your tasks.

About This Role

• Must have, or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid and any other training required by regulatory agencies
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations
• Knowledge of early childhood education curriculum
• All child care positions in the State of Georgia require daycare workers to have a current, satisfactory background check on file with Decal
• Flexible/adaptable to constant change

• Initiative to develop and maintain communication and build relationships with parents and others
