Kids in Motion Academy (KIMA) is seeking a dependable Cook/Floater to join our team. You will prepare healthy meals and snacks and support classrooms as needed to create a safe, nurturing environment.

The role follows USDA/CACFP guidelines, requires lifting up to 40 pounds, and emphasizes teamwork with teachers and families to support daily learning and meals.

High school diploma or GED is preferred; childcare or food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in childcare or food service preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks following USDA/CACFP guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and monitor food temperatures.
• Store food safely and manage kitchen inventory.
• Assist teachers in classrooms and support daily routines, naps, and outdoor play.
