Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Placement Specialist delivers legislatively mandated training to county child welfare staff, strengthening workforce competency through group instruction and applied learning.

This role provides technical assistance to county DSS agencies, coordinates training events, and ensures facilities, materials, and logistics are prepared for statewide trainings, including travel as needed across the state. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Train legislatively mandated child welfare curricula for county DSS staff across all program areas.

• Coordinate training events, logistics, and documentation across the state.
• Travel across North Carolina to deliver trainings.
