Job summary

NC Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a contract trainer/content developer to support statewide Child Welfare system training. The role requires extensive travel up to 75%, with hybrid delivery in Research Triangle Park, Durham, NC.

The ideal candidate will design and develop practical training materials and facilitate both in-person and virtual sessions, collaborating with Training Lead, Applications Lead, and SMEs to ensure effective implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, modifying, and maintaining Captivate, Camtasia, Word templates, scripts, and PowerPoint for adult learners.
• Ability to revise training materials for instruction of adult learners.
• Design and deliver practical training and course materials in classroom and virtual settings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop practical training and course materials for Child Welfare modules.
• Provide effective classroom and virtual facilitation for employees.
• Collaborate with Training Lead, Applications Lead, and SMEs to implement the statewide system.
