Job summary

Youth For Tomorrow New Life Center Inc seeks a Foster Care Recruiting and Training Coordinator to assess the needs of youth in foster care, coordinate the recruitment and retention of foster families, and conduct training for new and current foster families.

The role involves outreach, data tracking, and ensuring compliance with Virginia licensing and accreditation standards. Training duties include pre-service and ongoing sessions for foster families, with occasional evening commitments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services with 1 year of casework experience.
• Bachelor's degree in human services with 1 year of casework experience.
• Bachelor's degree in any field plus 2 years' casework experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and driving record per YFT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the recruitment and retention plan for foster care families.
• Provide outreach and community programs to foster care parents.
• Collaborate with local programs and media to promote foster care parenting, including evenings/weekends.
• Provide initial information to potential foster care parents about the program and process.
• Track data and prepare reports for the Director of Foster Care Services.
• Ensure foster homes meet Virginia licensing, Medicaid, accreditation, and state policy standards.
