StepStone Family & Youth Services in Kentucky seeks an experienced trainer to lead foster care training sessions and coordinate workshops for resource families. You will ensure high-quality education, manage schedules, and document outcomes to support ongoing training needs.

The role requires knowledge of adult education principles, curriculum design, and group facilitation, with opportunities to develop materials and deliver engaging sessions to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Complete all necessary training prior to service delivery.
• Bachelor degree in social or behavioral sciences preferred.
• Level 1 fingerprint clearance required.
• Clear record with Child Safety Central Registry of any abuse/neglect.
• Flexible to training times and business hours.
• Knowledge of adult education, group dynamics, and communication.

Responsabilités

• Perform all applicable Agency training on a variable and flexible schedule, including night training.
• Be on-time with paperwork and gather documentation for each resource family after training.
• Coordinate and provide specialized workshop training throughout the year.
• Assess applicants for training participation and mastery of materials.
• Provide ongoing training and educational opportunities to resource families and staff and plan yearly hours.
