Job summary

VisionQuest seeks a Trainer to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training for Residential Treatment Center staff. You will translate Texas standards and DFPS requirements into engaging, practical training and facilitate instructor-led and blended learning, including CPI.

You will assess needs, develop curricula, and coach staff to ensure safe, effective performance while maintaining records and leveraging LMS for tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field required; 2+ years of instructor-led training experience.
• Minimum 2 years delivering in-person, virtual, webinar, or blended training.
• Experience using an LMS is required.
• Ability to travel between program locations; occasional statewide/out-of-state travel.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees at the RTC.
• Ensure training aligns with 26 TAC 748 and DFPS contract requirements.
• Develop lesson plans and select varied instructional methods.
• Conduct in-person and virtual instructor-led sessions for orientation and annual trainings.
• Provide CPI training and train-the-trainer sessions on soft skills and supervision.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and employee performance.
