Job summary

VisionQuest (VQ) is seeking a Trainer to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for its Residential Treatment Center employees. You will ensure staff meet Texas licensing standards and DFPS contract requirements, translating regulatory rules into engaging content and facilitating instructor-led and blended learning.

You will assess training needs, develop curricula, and coach staff to mastery while observing performance and applying CPI and soft-skill development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, education, organizational leadership/management, or related field required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience delivering instructor-led training (in-person, virtual, webinar, or blended).
• Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) required.
• Experience designing training curricula and coordinating training events in an organizational setting preferred.
• Experience in curriculum development related to human behavior and/or organizational leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training programs aligned with Texas licensing standards and DFPS contract requirements.
• Deliver instructor-led training in-person and virtually; lead orientation and annual trainings.
• Facilitate CPI training and soft-skill train-the-trainer sessions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback; coach participants.
• Maintain training records and ensure documentation readiness for inspections and monitoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and program goals.
