My Florida Families seeks a Family Support Worker to assist children and families in crisis, focusing on transportation and coordination with investigators to deliver essential social services. Location: Saint Lucie County with potential postings in other counties; strong emphasis on teamwork and independent initiative.

The role involves maintaining client files, liaising with community partners, and performing related clerical tasks while supporting protective investigations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of vehicle safety maintenance.
• Knowledge of STMS and MFMP systems.
• Ability to speak/read/write Spanish and Creole is a plus.
• Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Telephonic skills with multiple lines.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates transportation for families.
• Maintains state vehicles in good working order with preventive care.
• Assists investigators in maintaining caseloads of families.
• Liaises with community agencies to assess service outcomes.
• Provides phone and client contact support.
• Submits and reviews reports with supervisor.
• Maintains and updates client files; prepares reports.
• Participates in trainings.
