Job summary

Kids Central is seeking a Family Support Worker to assist in the child welfare department in Ocala, FL. The role includes transporting children, supervising visitations, and supporting Family Care Managers. A valid Florida driver’s license and background in social services are required.

This full-time clerical position supports families and children through documentation, coordination, and collaboration with care managers. Afternoon shifts are available Tue–Sat.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least two years in social services, child development, family services, or childcare.
• An associate's or bachelor's degree may substitute for required experience.
• Valid Florida driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide transportation for children under CPS and accompany supervised visits.
• Supervise parental/family visitations and document observations promptly.
• Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and extended family.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of children during transport and visits.
• Assist Family Care Managers with clerical duties and reporting.
