Job summary

The State of North Carolina's Department of Health and Human Services, Social Services Division, seeks a Human Services Program Consultant II (S) to participate in formal county reviews across all 100 counties. You will analyze outcome data, evaluate staffing and caseload patterns, interpret state law and policy, and provide feedback to improve social work practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program with three years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relative to the program area with five years of related experience.
• Equivalent education/experience combination allowed.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative case reviews of all 100 counties to ensure compliance with state law and policy, review case records and policies, interview staff, and provide feedback.
• Support Continuous Quality Improvement by participating in policy development and training, and collaborate in workgroups and committees.
• Screen TA GATEWAY requests and provide technical assistance regarding the GATEWAY.
