Job summary

The State of North Carolina’s Department of Health and Human Services, Social Services Division, seeks a Human Services Program Consultant II (S) to participate as a reviewer in formal reviews of local Children’s Services program administration across all 100 counties. You will evaluate data and discuss findings to identify strengths and areas for improvement to guide training and consultations.

This role requires staying current with law, rule, and policy and applying them during case reviews.

Qualifications

• Lead qualitative case reviews across all counties to ensure compliance with state law and policy.
• Interpret and apply policy during reviews, and provide actionable feedback.
• Coordinate with teams to support continuous quality improvement in Child Welfare.
